Our little baby was born this morning at 3:49am. She was 6 lbs 12 oz and 18 inches long. We have decided to name her Lucia Davina Christensen. Meradith's great grandmother's name was Davina. We are planning to call her Lucy. We went into the hospital after Meradith's water broke at 4 in the afternoon. She was in labor for almost 12 hours. What a night! I'm so proud of both of my girls!

Yes! I love her! I can't wait to hold her in my arms. I just sat and stared at her... and was thinking "I can't believe that you two just had a baby." Not sure why it is just hitting me now... :) love you both! congratulations!

Congratulations! There is something about both yours and Vanessa's babies that resemble each other so much. I know you were stressing out about the labor and delivery aspect of the whole thing...so did it go okay? I'm guessing it was all worth it in the end. She's absolutely beautiful and you should be very, very proud.

You guys do good work. The only way she could be any cuter is if she had a few of her "uncle Dave's" genes. Wow, that sounded more creepy than I thought it would :) JK She is adorable and she couldn't have better parents unless I was somehow I was her parent...Ah crap, there I go being creepy again :) Congrats guys BTW, I don't buy the whole "Davina was Mer's Granny's name". It's an obvious derivative of "Dave" so thanks for that!
Congratulations! We keep expecting to have Jason show up on our doorstep during one of his business trips...but to date...nothing! Enjoy every moment, time goes faster than you'd think.
