I just realized I didn't put a single holiday picture up. All this "catching up" and I am still seriously behind. Well, to tell you the truth we didn't take a lot of pictures this Christmas. There is good reason behind it though. We went down to Arizona to be with my whole family and it started out as a perfect little getaway from the snow! Everyone was flying into town and my side of the fam hasn't all been together for some time because of missions and a brother in the air force. We were all super excited about it. Unfortunately, I ended up getting just about the worst flu I've had in my life for a solid week straight, and on top of being pregnant, you can imagine it was just horrendous. I was exiled to an upstairs bedroom, and when we left I just felt like I was leaving their home infested with germs. To say the least I was a total Debbie Downer, and my sweet husband was up most of the night for a couple nights coming to my aide as I heaved. Isnt being sick the WORST? To top it all off and just to let you in on how glorious of a life I lead, we ended up going into urgent care for something to stop the nausea and I got a big fat shot right in the rear end. Honestly I could not have been more appealing to the man I married! haha. So, strangely enough I really didn't show up in hardly any pictures over Christmas, because Jason would have faced my wrath if he would have tried to take any. Here are a couple cute shots I did find though...

This is last years Christmas at his parents place...I figured it's a Christmas picture nonetheless. Gotta include the classic mistletoe:)

These were from this year... Jason is totally in his element with the littles:) So so cute

This little guy Callum refuses to make any other face but this for pictures... he is hilarious! His dad has taken a lot of time getting this face perfected. We love our neices and nephews!

Aren't they angelic? the girls were completely ECSTATIC about matching nighties...

This was another fun part of the holiday break... the Las Vegas bowl!! Most amazing win ever pulled off by BYU against UCLA, if you missed it, you missed a heart stopper. I was freezing last year at the vegas bowl so this year I went more than prepared, I had like 8 layers on. The group we went with was so much fun and we made some ridiculously funny memories...

Ok this honestly made me laugh harder than I think I ever have... tears streaming down my face and peeing my pants (not really) laughing our butts off! They handed out these Geiko Cavemen faces at the game and we decided to get a little creative... the families around us seemed to get a kick out of it too, everyone was asking to pass around the camera to show off our glamour shots!
hahaha really, we absolutely DIED laughing. We kinda hoped the pics would look like he was just a cool guy we met and who hung out with us there... Hope you can appreciate it and it's not one of those"I guess you had to be there" :)

I am sorry! I suck at this! I am getting lot's of crap from my professional blogger girlfriends, and I'm sorry. Anyone who stumbles across our blog will likely not see changes for months at a time. I'm lame, and I just totally forget about it. I have good excuses though, the pregnancy has made me more spacey than usual, and I'm taking a full load this semester. Speaking of pregnancy, I had a few really good days and stupidly started bragging it up about how I only had 3 weeks or so of morning sickness and how I just feel great and then I promptly started throwing up again. Spoke too soon. dang it. Still sick, but it's hit and miss now, which is strangely both better and worse than being consistent. Anyways, this little darling is 13 weeks along and doing great. We are super excited and I think Jason may be even more baby hungry than I am. He's so cute:) We weren't really supposed to have an ultrasound this early but the doctor couldn't find the little heart beat, so we lucked out and got to take a picture home. He/she is only about 3 inches long at this point, and it was the most surreal thing in my life to see how much movement is going on in there because I can't feel a THING and am not showing at all. (PS I hate the "he/she" thing, so I will be referring to baby as he or she, depending on my mood.) I'm still wearing the same clothes and for the first time in my life I wish I couldn't fit in them anymore. Something crazy goes on during the first pregnancy and you just want to look pregnant because you think the other big and pregnant women are so dang cute. I heard that changes though when it actually becomes you, so I'll keep you posted! We can find out the sex in a little over a month, and I can honestly say there is absolutely no preference. Just one or the other, not both. Seeing her for the first time was a tender moment we shared that we'll never forget. Here is the first shot of junior that we have! Boldly and beautifully bearing herself to the world!!
Here we are on the Halloween cruise we took with Jason's company NorthStar. Can you guess who we were? We topped it off with our traditional karaoke duet "Summer Nights".... sometimes I think Jason really does want to be Danny Zuko:)I swear that wig weighed like 10 pounds and I was starting to get whip lash and a massive headache from having it on, (I almost had to go to a chiropractor afterwards because of that wig!) so Jase and I went back and changed that night right after the costume contest was over. This guy however, did not. And with good reason. I think he actually had it on most of the cruise. Sortof creepy, but at the same time if you only get to wear this get-up once a year, why not take full advantage? I know I would! (On second thought, he probably busts this out more often than just Halloween...yeah he definitely does.)

The group... We are trouble when we get together, honestly I've never laughed so hard... Brandon, Becky, Audrey, Cath, Jay, Merv and Dave. You rock my world!

Once we got into Cabo, a few of us went scuba diving and made some amazing memories, including me almost horking off the side of the boat and making the entire boat wait for me while I swam out to a huge rock covered in Pelican poop and tried to pee. I had to go SO bad it was just killing me and could NOT do it! Took me like 20 minutes no joke. Everyone, including dive masters, were coaching me. Embarassing. Once we got out, we were totally drained so we just grabbed some grub and walked the town, the hot sun felt so amazing!

Here's me trying to pee on Pelican rock, slightly irked that Jason took like 10 pictures of the event...

No one on the ship could believe that our group didn't have an ounce of alcohal in us... thought we were blitzed out of our minds the entire four days. haha
I am trying to catch up to the present day but lot's has happened in the 13 months we've been married... The Europe trip we took was among my favorites of the year. It was incredible, a total whirlwind of two weeks that left us collapsing into our beds at the end of each day. Cute story to tie into that, before I left on my mission 4 years ago, Jason told me not to leave, but to run away with him instead. He said we would go to Rome and Paris and no one would ever know. I lamely responded seriously for some reason, and said, "Jason you know I can't do that. I'm going to Paraguay!" He said, "I know, gosh just dream with me for a minute." So we day dreamed about this fantastically romantic time spent in Europe. He told me that he had had many opportunities to go with friends but was waiting for his wife. He knew at the time, he was talking to her. I still needed some growing up time before I would realize how out of my mind I would have been to pass him up and how ridiculously obvious it was that we belonged together. So we went on an impulse last August, 3 years after that initial conversation, and it really was a complete dream...better than we'd ever imagined:)

Stonehenge, England
Paris.... obviously:) We spent this evening sitting on the grass in front of the Eifel tower while people walked around selling wine and playing the violin for the couples... unbelieveable

Le Musee du Louvre... so so so amazing

Venice...
Outside of Vatican City... beautiful view of St. Peters basilica ...
